R. D. Engineering Industries

R. D. Engineering Industries is located at A-18/1 in the MIDC area of Ambad. This is a real industrial zone, so it’s all about production and getting things out the door. Our building is a typical workshop setup—lots of high ceilings and concrete floors that stay cool even when it’s baking outside. We spend our shifts operating the machines and making sure everything is running at the right speed. There’s a constant rhythm to the work here, with the sound of metal being shaped and the hum of the motors. We wear our heavy boots and work clothes, and by the end of the day, they’re usually covered in a bit of everything. We don’t have much in the way of decoration; the machines are the main focus. We take our breaks in a small area off to the side, usually talking about what needs to be fixed or how the week is going. Ambad is a busy place to be, and we see a lot of the same faces every day at the local food stalls. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of rules; we just know what needs to be done and we do it. Sometimes the work is repetitive, but there’s a satisfaction in seeing a finished part ready to go. We’ve been here at A-18/1 for a good stretch, and it’s just where we belong, right in the middle of all the industrial action in Nashik.
