Xanadu Garden Restaurant

Xanadu Garden Restaurant is situated on C.T Road in Puri. This part of town is quite well-known because it’s close to the beach and all the hotels. We have a garden space which is nice because it gives people a bit of a break from the dusty road. Puri is a busy pilgrimage city, so we see a lot of people coming from all over India. The vibe on C.T Road is a mix of tourists and locals going about their business. We aren't a big chain or anything. We are just a local restaurant with some tables set out under the trees. The sea breeze comes in sometimes, which feels good when it's hot during the afternoon. We don't have a marketing department writing fancy stuff for us. We just write our menu on a board and hope people like what we have. Our staff is a small group of people who have lived in Puri for years. We spend our mornings cleaning up the garden and getting the kitchen going. It’s a lot of work to keep a garden looking okay with the salt in the air, but we do what we can. We just take things one day at a time. It’s a simple place where you can sit down and relax for a bit while you are in the city. We’ve been here for a while and we plan to stay right here on C.T Road for a long time to come. That is all we really do.
