Beach Hut Restaurants

If you’re coming to Puri, you’ll likely find us on Station Road. Beach Hut Restaurants is part of the Beach Hut Hotel at 752002. Being near the station means we get a lot of travelers coming in right off the train. It’s a bit of a hectic spot sometimes with all the rickshaws and people carrying luggage. We’ve been running this place for a while, and it’s always interesting to see who walks through the door. Some people are here for the temple and others just want to see the ocean. We don’t put on any acts or try to be something we’re not. It’s just a hotel restaurant where you can sit down and take a break from the heat. We spend our mornings getting the breakfast ready and then it’s straight into lunch prep. The floors need a lot of mopping because of the sand people bring in from the beach. It’s just part of being in Puri. We don't have any fancy marketing language to use. We just try to keep the food consistent and the tables clean. Sometimes the power flickers or the street gets too noisy, but that’s just life on Station Road. We’re a small team and we do most of the work ourselves. It’s a practical business. We’ve been here long enough to know the local rhythms. It’s just a simple place to eat when you’re visiting the city or staying at the hotel.
