Tandoor Garden

We are located right on C T Road in Puri. Being in a place like this means we see a lot of different people every day. Some are just visiting the coast and others have lived here their whole lives. Our space is called Tandoor Garden, and it is a pretty straightforward setup. We have some outdoor seating which is nice when there is a breeze, but mostly it is just about the food and the people. The kitchen is the heart of the place, and it stays busy from morning until late at night. We don't have a team of fancy chefs, just a few guys who have been cooking for years. They know the recipes by heart and don't need a book to tell them what to do. The salt air from the sea sometimes makes things rust a bit faster, so we are always painting or fixing something around the shop. It is a bit of a constant job to keep everything looking okay. We don't have a lot of rules here, we just want people to sit down and enjoy their meal without any stress. The road outside can be dusty and loud with all the rickshaws and bikes going by. It’s just a regular spot on a busy Puri street. We keep the water cold and the tandoor hot. That is pretty much our whole day in a nutshell. We just keep things moving along and try to be ready for whatever the next day brings.
