Kalia Sahoo Pure Veg Restaurant

We are located on Grand Road right in the Municipal Market area of Puri. Kalia Sahoo Pure Veg Restaurant has been around for quite a bit. Being in 752001, we are right where the action is, especially during the big festivals. We only serve vegetarian food here, which is what most people are looking for when they come to this part of town. The market is always loud and full of people buying vegetables or clothes. Our place is tucked in there, and it’s usually full of people sitting on the benches. We don't have a lot of space, but we make sure every table is wiped down. I grew up in Puri and always wanted to have a place on Grand Road. It’s a simple setup with basic plates and spoons. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People just know us from walking by. The kitchen is always busy with big pots of rice and dal. We wake up early to get the fresh vegetables from the market right outside our door. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day, but it’s how we make our living. We get tourists and locals alike, and everyone gets treated the same. It’s just a regular restaurant where you can get a decent meal without any fuss. We aren't trying to be anything more than what we are, just a local veg spot.
