Swami Brahmanand Krishak Producer Company Limited is based at House Number 213 in Village Kargawon. We are a group of local farmers who decided to register as a company to make our work more official. Kargawon is a small place, and our office is just a part of the village life. We don't have any corporate training or fancy degrees. What we have is years of experience working the soil. Most of our meetings happen sitting in a circle, talking about seeds and the upcoming season. It’s a very simple operation. We don't have a big budget for things that aren't necessary. Every rupee we have goes back into the farming work. Sometimes it’s hard to keep up with the rules the government sets for companies, but we do our best. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want to make sure the crops are good and the prices are fair. The house at number 213 is where we keep our books and where people come to chat. It’s a community effort more than anything else. We have had some bad years with the rain, and those are tough, but we stick together. That was the whole point of starting this company in the first place. We are just folks from Kargawon who know the land and want to keep it that way for our families.
