We are located at Madaraha Patti Chakeswar, and Raj Bahadur is usually the one you’ll find handling the paperwork side of things. Hamaridharohar Farmer Producer Company Limited is a long name for what is really just a group of us from the neighborhood. We all have our own small patches of land, and we figured it made sense to work as one group instead of a dozen small ones. Chakeswar is a small place, and everyone knows everyone else’s business anyway. We don't have any big corporate plans or anything like that. Mostly, we just talk about the irrigation pipes, the price of diesel, and why the pests are so bad this year. It’s hard work, and some days you wonder why you even bother with the dirt at all. But then the harvest comes, and you see the bags stacked up, and it feels okay for a bit. We don't use any fancy talk here. If the crop is good, we’re happy. If it fails, we look at what to do next. It is practical stuff. We’ve got a lot of history in this soil, and we want to keep it going for our kids. There is no polish on what we do. It’s just heavy lifting and waiting for the right weather. We aren't anything special, just local farmers trying to keep our heads above water.
