Aashiyana Bio Energy Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at 1 Sishari, which is where Mahesh Kumar stays. We are a small group of farmers who decided to look into bioenergy. It’s something we’ve been interested in for a while because there’s so much leftover material from farming that just goes to waste. We figured we could do something better with it. Our office is just a simple room in Sishari where we keep our books and meet up. We don't have much in the way of fancy furniture, but we have plenty of ideas. Most of our days are spent out on the farms and then we come together in the evenings to discuss our plans. It’s a group effort, and everyone has a say in how things are run. Sometimes the meetings go on for a long time because we all have different opinions. But that’s just how it is when you’re working with friends and neighbors. We are still learning a lot about the bioenergy side of things. It’s not always easy to find the right information or the right buyers. But we keep trying because we think it’s important for our future. We’re just normal people trying to make a living and do right by our families. It’s a lot of trial and error, but we’re sticking with it. Sishari is a quiet place, but we’re doing some busy work here. That’s our story, plain and simple. We are just getting started and seeing where this takes us.
