Our place is tucked away in Kamal village, which is part of the Jamra area in Katwa. Being out here in Bardhaman feels right for what we do with agro products. It’s a quiet spot, but there’s always something happening in the fields around us. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything. It’s just us working out of this village location. The roads can be a bit bumpy getting here, especially when it rains, but we’re used to it. Most of the people working here are local, so we all know each other well. It’s more like a small community than a regular business office. We spend most of our mornings checking on things and making sure everything is running okay. There’s a lot of coordination involved when you’re dealing with agriculture in this part of West Bengal. Sometimes things don’t go according to plan, like when the weather changes suddenly, but we just deal with it as it comes. We’ve been here for a bit now and folks in the village know where the office is. We keep our doors open and mostly just focus on the daily chores that need doing. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. If you’re ever passing through Jamra, you’ll see our sign. It’s nothing too big, just enough so people can find us when they need to talk about their supplies or the season’s yield.
