Jashimuddin Mondal is the main contact at the office. We are a bunch of farmers from this part of the district who decided to join up. It’s much better than trying to do everything by yourself. We focus on what grows best in our local soil. Dirghanagar is a small place, so word travels fast when we have something new to discuss. Jashimuddin keeps the books and handles the visitors who stop by. We don't use any corporate talk here. We just discuss things like fertilizer, weather, and market prices. Sometimes we meet under the trees if the office is too hot. It is a very practical way of doing business. We are proud of our village and the work we do in the fields. It’s a lot of long hours, especially during the harvest time. We don't have a mission statement on the wall, just a calendar and some notes about the next crop cycle.
