We set this up here in Belkash, near Burdwan, specifically around the Milikpara area. It’s mostly just us local farmers working together under the name Sirijal Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited. If you’re looking for us, we’re located over at Narayan Chandra Mallick’s place. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that, just a regular house where we keep our papers and meet up. We spend most of our time out in the fields or dealing with the crops we grow around here. Life in Burdwan revolves a lot around the soil and what we can produce each season. Being a farmer producer company means we try to handle our own business instead of letting outsiders take all the profit. We deal with seeds, harvests, and getting things to market. It gets busy during the planting season, and sometimes the weather doesn't help much, but we keep at it. Most of the people involved live right here in the village. We’ve known each other for years, so working together feels pretty natural. There are a lot of small details to manage when you're running a farm group like this one. We have to keep track of what everyone is growing and make sure the supplies are ready when needed. It’s a lot of manual work and paperwork mixed together. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us trying to make a living from the land in this part of West Bengal. We focus on what’s right in front of us.
