Rarh Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are located over in Burdwan, specifically in the Bhedia area. It’s a quiet spot near Bagbati where Santosh Kr Ghosh has his place. This company, Rarh Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited, was put together by local people who spend their days out in the fields. Most of us grew up around here and know the soil pretty well. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. Instead, we work out of the post office area in Bhedia. It gets dusty in the summer and muddy during the rains, but that is just how it is for farmers. We spend a lot of time talking to neighbors about their crops and what they need for the next season. It isn't always easy to manage everything, especially with the weather being so unpredictable lately. But we try to keep things moving. Sometimes we meet up at the house to figure out the logistics of moving supplies or dealing with the paperwork that comes with being a registered producer group. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We are just a group of people from the village trying to make things a bit more organized for the local growers. If you walk through Bagbati, you’ll likely see some of us working. We mostly just focus on the day-to-day tasks that need doing to keep the farm work going. There isn't much more to it than that, really. Just people and their land.
