We started Baisnavi Farmers Producer Company Limited because people in Bardhaman needed a better way to handle things together. Sufal Sarkar helped set us up here in Poagradwip. It’s mostly just us local folks working the land and trying to figure out how to get things moving. Sometimes it’s a bit messy, but that’s how farming life goes. Our work involves handling the crops and trying to make sure everyone gets a fair shake at the end of the day. Bardhaman is a busy place for agriculture, and being right here in Poagradwip helps us stay close to where the actual work happens. We aren't big city people with fancy offices. Our space is simple, and we spend most of our time out in the fields or talking to the other members. It isn’t always easy balancing the books and the harvest, but we manage. We’ve been through some tough seasons lately with the weather changing so much. Still, we keep at it because this is what we know. If you come by the village, you’ll likely see some of us near Sufal’s place or out back sorting through whatever we’ve brought in for the day. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Just a bunch of farmers trying to stay afloat and help each other out when the prices drop or the rain doesn't come. That's pretty much the whole story of who we are.
