Yakshini Constructions Private Limited is based over in Gokul Nagar at units F-11 and 12. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood, which is a nice change from the crowded parts of the city where we often have to work. The office is a simple place where we keep our tools and our project folders. We aren't interested in having a flashy workspace with modern art on the walls. Most of our furniture is just whatever was cheap and sturdy at the time. We spend a lot of our hours looking at site plans and trying to figure out the best way to get things built without wasting money. It’s a lot of practical thinking and problem-solving every single day. We have a small group of guys who have been working with us for a long time, so we don't have to explain much to each other anymore. We just get on with it. Sometimes we have to deal with difficult vendors or late deliveries, and that can be a real pain. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy about building. We just want to make sure the foundations are solid and the walls are straight. Gokul Nagar has a nice feel to it, and we often see our neighbors when we are heading out to the sites in the morning. It’s a good, basic way to run a business without any of the corporate fluff. We just keep our heads down and work.
