Wallingco Projects India Llp sits over in Lotus Plaza, near the old Sangampress Road in Kothrud. If you know Pune, you know how Kothrud has changed over the years. Our office is in flat number Sno 15/1B/1, right in the middle of all the noise and activity. It’s a decent place to work from. We spend a lot of time looking at site plans and talking to vendors on the phone. The parking near the plaza can be a bit of a headache if you arrive late in the morning. Inside, it’s mostly desks piled with folders and some samples of materials we use for projects. It isn’t some high-end corporate suite. It’s just where the Wallingco team gathers to plan out the week. We have a small pantry where someone is always making coffee. The windows look out towards the road, so we see the traffic crawling by all day. It’s a good reminder of why we need better infrastructure. Sometimes we stay late when a project is at a critical stage. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually find out about us through word of mouth or by seeing our name on a site. Working in Pune means dealing with the heat and the sudden rain, but we are used to it by now. It’s just honest work day in and day out, trying to make things happen.
