Vishwa Dance Academy

Vishwa Dance Academy is situated at number 37 on Akurdi Mysore Road. It’s basically a big open space with some mirrors on the walls. We spend our days here, mostly just moving and teaching. Akurdi Mysore Road is a busy stretch, so there’s always noise from the traffic. You can hear the buses and cars passing by while we’re practicing our routines. The floor is a bit worn out in spots because of all the dancing over the years, but it still works fine for us. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. People just walk in, put their bags down, and get to work. It’s a simple place, really. We’ve got a few old benches for parents to sit on while they wait for their kids. The lighting is okay, nothing special. Sometimes it gets quite hot when we have a full class of students, but we just open the windows and hope for a breeze. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Most people find us by looking for the big number 37 on the building. It’s not hard to spot once you’re on the right part of Mysore Road. We aren't a high-end studio with marble floors and central air. It’s just a practical space for people who love to dance. We keep things pretty informal here. There’s always music playing, which helps drown out the road noise. It’s just our little corner where we do what we do.
