Viraj Motor Driving School

You can find us on the Pune Satara Road, right in the Katraj area. We are located near Kinara Lodging, which is a landmark most people around here know. Viraj Motor Driving School has been helping people learn to handle cars for a good while. Our days start early when the roads are a bit clearer for the new learners. We have a few cars parked outside that we use for the lessons. Inside the small office, there are some charts about road signs and some paperwork on the desk. It’s not a fancy place, just somewhere to sit while we sort out the schedules and learner licenses. We spend most of our time out on the road rather than inside. The traffic on Pune Satara Road can be quite something, so it’s a real test for anyone learning. We take it slow and try to be patient with everyone who gets behind the wheel. Some people are nervous, others pick it up fast. We’ve seen all sorts of drivers over the years. We don't use any high-tech simulators or anything. It is just the car, the road, and an instructor sitting in the passenger seat. We keep our logbooks updated by hand. It’s a local business run by local people who know these streets well.
