Villagepump (Netherlands)-Tej Urbantech (India)

Our office is at 201 Shantai Apartments, which is at 68 Mayur Colony in Kothrud. It’s an apartment building, so it feels more like a home than a cold corporate office. We like that vibe. It’s a partnership between the Netherlands side and the local Tej Urbantech team here in India. We have a few rooms set up with computers and some water pump equipment. Mayur Colony is a nice, leafy area of Kothrud, so it’s relatively quiet compared to the main roads. You can hear birds sometimes, which is a nice change from the city noise. We usually have meetings in the living room area which we turned into a conference space. It’s a bit informal. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Most of the day is spent communicating back and forth between the two teams. Sometimes there are language gaps or time zone issues to work through, but we are used to it by now. The kitchen is always full of tea supplies. It’s a small team, so everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We don't have a big corporate structure. If something needs fixing, someone just does it. We’ve been in Shantai Apartments for a while, and it suits the way we work. It’s a practical, comfortable place where we focus on urban tech and water solutions without any unnecessary fuss or drama.
