Vidyas Dance Academy

Vidyas Dance Academy is situated in Kalewadi, specifically in Sector-39 of the Urban Estate. It is a residential kind of area, so it feels a bit more relaxed than the city center. We have a good amount of floor space because, well, you need that for dancing. The mirrors are usually a bit smudged from people leaning on them, and the floor has some scuff marks, but that’s how it should be. We don't have a fancy sound system, just something that plays the music loud enough for everyone to hear. Being in Urban Estate means we have neighbors nearby, so we try not to be too loud late at night. The building in Sector-39 is easy to spot once you get into the estate. We spend a lot of time just sweeping the floor and making sure there is water for everyone. It is a simple life here at the academy. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. People just hear about us and show up at the door in Kalewadi. Sometimes the weather gets really humid and the windows fog up, but we just open them up and keep going. It’s just a local place for people who like to move. We’ve been in this part of Sector-39 for a while and we know the street pretty well by now. We usually lock up around nine or ten depending on who is still here. It’s a good spot to spend the evening.
