Camp is such a busy area. Gadia House is an old building, and you can tell by the way the hallways look. Our office is at number 1156. It is a bit of a maze sometimes if you are not used to the layout. The walls are thick and it stays relatively cool inside even when the sun is hitting the street hard outside. We have a lot of history in this spot. There are old wooden cabinets filled with files that we probably should have archived years ago, but they just stay there. It gives the place a solid feel. Working in Camp means there is always good food nearby, which is a bit of a distraction during lunch hours. You can hear the bikes and cars honking all afternoon. Our team is small, mostly just a handful of us who have known each other for a long time. We do not use fancy titles or anything. We just sit at our desks and handle the paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we just wait it out or talk about what is for dinner. It is a very grounded way of working. No one is trying to impress anyone else here. We just want to finish the work and head home. If you drop by, do not expect a lobby with a fountain. It is just a regular door in an old Pune building that we have called home for years.
