Down in Nanded, we run V M Engineering from a small workshop that we have had for many years. It is a basic setup with brick walls and a heavy metal door that tends to stick when the weather gets humid. We spend our days getting our hands dirty with all sorts of machinery parts that locals bring in for us to look at. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but it has everything we need to do the work. We don't have an office staff or anyone to answer the phones, so if you come by, you’ll likely find us in the back covered in a bit of dust or grease. We take on whatever work comes through the gate, whether it's a small welding job or something more involved with a motor. The heat in Nanded can be quite something in the summer, so we keep the big fans going to stay cool while we work. It’s a simple life for us here. We start early in the morning, do what needs to be done, and head home when it gets dark. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a job for a customer who is in a hurry. There is always something to grind down or a part to fit. We don't talk much about our work, we just get on with it. It’s a steady routine that suits us just fine.
