Hemant Engineering Works

Hemant Engineering Works is based at Gat No. 765 in Pawar Wasti, Kudalwadi. This part of Chikhali is pretty well known for engineering shops and scrap markets. Our place is pretty much what you’d expect from a workshop here. It’s a metal shed with a big front door that we keep open for some air. We have some old lathes and drills that have been with us for a very long time. They still work just fine, so we keep using them every day. There’s always a smell of oil and metal shavings in the air. We don't wear uniforms or anything like that. Just old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty with grease. We do a lot of repair work and small custom jobs for people in the neighborhood. We don't have a big sales team or anyone to answer phones. Usually, people just hear about us from someone else and show up with a part that needs fixing. We take a look, tell them if we can do it, and then get to work. It’s a simple way of doing business without any complications. We don't have fancy brochures or a shiny website. Our work speaks for itself when the machines start running again. We take breaks when we're tired and keep going until the job is done. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do here in Pawar Wasti.
