General Engineering Co. is tucked away in the Divyadarshan Complex, right behind the Kothrud Bus Stand. It’s a handy location since the PDCC Bank is right there too, so people find us easily. Our shop is at No. 11, and it’s usually filled with the sound of grinding or drilling. We have been in Kothrud for a long time and have seen the area change quite a bit. The bus stand always has people coming and going, so there is a constant energy around the complex. We don’t have a big showroom or anything like that. We have our workspace where the machines are set up. It’s a practical setup because we need the floor space for the heavy equipment. Most of our day is spent measuring, cutting, and fitting parts together. We wear our work clothes and don't mind getting a bit of grease on our hands. That is just part of the job. Sometimes the complex gets a bit crowded with parked scooters, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest engineering firm around, just a reliable place where people can get their technical needs sorted out. We talk to our customers directly, no middleman or sales talk.
