You will find us at Shivdarshan Apartment in the Chandan Nagar area of Pune. Our space is Sno 49, Hno 1A+B, which is a bit tucked away but easy enough to locate. We focus on plots and land around this side of the city. Pune has been growing so fast that it is hard to keep track of all the new developments. We started Urban Take because we saw how people were struggling to find decent land. We are not a fancy outfit with a glass building. It is just a regular office where we drink too much tea and talk about property. Most of our time is spent driving out to various sites to see what they actually look like. Paperwork takes up the rest of the day, which isn't the fun part but it has to be done. We try to be straight with the folks who come in to talk to us. There is no point in making things sound better than they are. We just show the plots and explain the local situation. It’s a lot of walking and talking. Chandan Nagar is a busy neighborhood and we like being part of it. We have been doing this for a while and have seen the city change quite a bit. It’s a practical business run by people who actually live here. We don't have a big marketing team, just our own feet and some local knowledge.
