Ulka Steels

Ulka Steels is located in Govindrao Patil Nagar, specifically at S.No. 3/16 B, right behind the Dattamandir in Dhankawadi. Pune is a busy city, and this area is no different. Being near the temple means there’s always some activity going on outside. Our yard and office are practical spaces. Since we deal with steel, things can get a bit messy and loud. There’s always the sound of metal moving or trucks arriving. It’s not a polished office with glass walls. We have sturdy desks and plenty of space for the materials. The floors are concrete and they’ve seen a lot of use over the years. We spend most of our time coordinating deliveries and checking stock. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You usually find us in the back or on the phone. The dust is just part of the job here. We have a small tea break in the mornings when the local vendor comes around. The neighborhood knows us well since we’ve been behind the temple for a long time. It’s a straightforward operation. We show up early, stay until the work is finished, and try to keep things organized despite the heavy nature of what we handle. It's a good, honest place to work and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the trucks and the temple bells. We don't mind the noise since it means we are busy.
