Rachana Fabrication

We've been at Plot- 23 in Sector No. 10 for a while now. Most people around Bhosari know us because we're right near Ajinkya Mitra Mondal. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. We do all sorts of fabrication work. Mostly it is just welding, cutting metal, and making things like gates or window grills for people’s houses and small shops nearby. Sometimes we get bigger orders for sheds or frames, but usually, it’s just the daily jobs that keep us busy. The shop isn't fancy. There’s a lot of noise and iron dust everywhere, but that’s just how this kind of work is. We started out with just a couple of machines and one welding set. Now we have a bit more space, but the way we work hasn't changed much over the years. If someone comes in with a rough drawing on a piece of paper, we try to figure out how to make it. It’s not always perfect the first time, but we fix it until it sits right. Metal is tough to work with, especially when the weather is hot in Bhosari. We don't have a big office or anything, just the workshop floor and a small corner to sit. People just walk in, tell us what they need for their construction or repair, and we get to it. We keep track of everything in a simple register. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on for us.
