Madan Scrap Dealers

We’ve been here at Surksha Nagar for a while now, right near Dr. Ambedkar College Road. It’s a busy spot but we like it. Most days you’ll find us sorting through piles of old metal, copper wires, and plastic scraps that people bring in. It gets pretty messy around here, but that’s just the way it is when you’re dealing with junk all day. We started Madan Scrap Dealers because there was a lot of waste just sitting around and someone needed to handle it. People come by with their old newspapers or broken appliances, and we weigh them out on the scale. Sometimes the yard is overflowing and we have to work late just to make some space for the next morning. It’s hard work, getting your hands dirty and lifting heavy things, but it’s what we know. We aren't fancy and we don’t have a big office. Just a shop floor and some tools. If you’re looking for the place, just head down towards the college road and you’ll see our sign. We just give the prices we can, even if the market for metal changes all the time. It’s just me and a couple of guys working here. We’ve seen all sorts of things come through those gates over the years. Some days are slow, other days we can barely keep up with the trucks coming in. That’s just how the scrap business goes in this part of town.
