Our place, Ujwal Solar, is located at 47/1/5 in Vadgoensheri. We are right opposite the hotel, so it’s easy for people to give directions to us. It’s a decent sized space where we keep our solar inventory and tools. We spend a lot of our time explaining to folks how solar energy actually works without using all the technical jargon that most companies use. Mostly, people just want to know if it will save them money on their monthly bills. We’ve been working in Vadgoensheri for some time now and we’ve seen the area change a lot. The hotel across the street brings in a lot of traffic, so there’s always something to look at while we’re working. Our team is small, just a couple of guys who are good with their hands and don't mind spending all day on a hot roof. We don't have a polished corporate office. It’s more like a workshop where we prep the systems before we take them out to be installed. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we have three or four jobs going at once, but we always find what we need eventually. We don't bother with big ads or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we do a decent job and people talk about it. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it works for us here in this part of town.
