We are based out of Pune, specifically in the Katraj area near the Mumbai Bypass. Our office is in Flat B-404 at Sinhagad Prestigepoint. It is a bit of a climb if you are not used to it, but the view of the traffic on the bypass is something else. This part of Sr. No 112/1/2/3 has grown a lot lately. We deal with infrastructure stuff, which basically means a lot of time spent looking at site plans and talking to contractors. The office feels more like a home because it is in an apartment building. There are usually some shoes left by the door and a stack of newspapers on the corner table. We don't have a formal dress code or anything. Most of us just wear what is comfortable for visiting sites. The bypass nearby is always noisy, but you get used to the hum of the trucks after a few weeks. Sometimes we have meetings on the small balcony when the weather is nice. Working in Pune means dealing with the rain during monsoon, which can slow down the site work. We just try to stay organized with our folders and schedules. It is a practical way to run a business. We know the neighbors and the local shops where we get our stationery. It is just us working through the daily tasks of infrastructure management in a very normal, everyday kind of way.
