Tiranga Driving School

Tiranga Driving School is located at Shop No. 6, right near Hotel Aashirvaad at Dhayari Phata. If you live in Pune, you already know how the traffic can be a total nightmare around here. We spend most of our daylight hours sitting in cars, teaching people how to shift gears and work the clutch without stalling out in the middle of the road. It is not easy work and it takes a lot of patience. Some of our students are very nervous to start with, while others think they are ready for a race track on their first day. We have a small shop space where we handle all the paperwork and talk to people about getting their licenses. It is a simple place with just a few chairs and a wooden desk. We do not use any fancy simulators or high-tech gadgets to teach. We believe you only learn by actually getting out on the road and practicing in real situations. The area around Dhayari Phata gets really crowded in the evenings, so we try to schedule the first-time lessons when the roads are a little quieter. Most people find us because a friend or a neighbor learned to drive here. We do not spend money on big advertisements. We just keep our cars running well and help folks get their permanent license. It is a decent living and we meet many different people every week.
