The Solar Shop

We’re located at 5 Panchratna Society in Kandge Park, right off the Manikbag Sinhgad Road here in Pune. The Solar Shop is pretty much what it sounds like. We sell and install solar water heaters and panels for people in the neighborhood. It’s a local operation, and we’ve been in this spot for a while. If you walk in, you’ll probably see us tinkering with a controller or talking to a customer about their plumbing. Since we’re on Sinhgad Road, it’s always busy outside, but inside we try to keep things organized. We don't use big words or try to sell people stuff they don't need. Usually, someone comes in because their old heater gave out or they're tired of high electric bills. We just show them what we have in stock and tell them how long the installation will take. We do most of the work ourselves, from climbing on the roofs to connecting the pipes. It’s honest work, and we like being part of the community in Manikbag. We’ve seen the area grow a lot, and more people are starting to see the point of using the sun for their hot water. We keep the shop open most days, and there’s usually someone around to answer questions. We aren't a big chain, just a small local shop trying to do right by the people who live around here. We just want to make sure your water stays hot and the setup lasts a long time. It’s just us doing what we know.
