The Leela Kempinski

Our building sits right on Khondhwa Bapu Khote Cross Lane 11. It’s a large place with plenty of rooms and hallways to keep track of every day. The Leela Kempinski has been operating here for quite some time now, watching the neighborhood change around us. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we know the streets pretty well. We spend a lot of our time making sure the lobby looks okay and that the guests find their way to their rooms without getting lost. It’s a lot of work keeping a hotel this size running. There’s always a light that needs changing or a floor that needs a quick sweep. We get all sorts of people staying with us, from folks just passing through to people here for work. The kitchen stays busy starting early in the morning for breakfast. It’s not always perfectly quiet, especially when there’s a lot of traffic on the lane outside, but we do what we can. We aren't trying to be anything other than a decent place to stay the night. The furniture is sturdy and the rooms have what you need. Sometimes the elevator takes a second too long, but it gets you where you’re going. It’s just a regular hotel doing its job every day. We see new faces every morning and say goodbye to others by noon. We also have a small parking area that fills up fast during the busy season.
