Orbetthotels

We've been over here at 55/12 Shantinagar in Wanwadi for a while now. Running Orbetthotels isn't always fancy like people think, but it's what we do every day in this part of Pune. Most of our time goes into making sure the rooms are tidy and the lights actually work when someone flips the switch. We're right near the residential bit, so it stays fairly quiet compared to the main city chaos. If you're looking for us, we are just tucked in there near the local shops. It’s a family-run sort of feel here, though we try to keep things professional enough. Sometimes the traffic on the way to Wanwadi gets a bit much in the evenings, but once you're inside, it’s fine. We don't have a giant lobby with gold statues or anything. It's just a building with rooms where people can sleep. We handle the bookings ourselves mostly. Some days are busier than others, especially when there are local events happening in Pune. We just try to keep the water hot and the beds made. It’s not a complicated life. We know most of the neighbors around Shantinagar by now. If a pipe leaks, we fix it. If someone needs an extra towel, we find one. That’s pretty much the whole story of how we run things here. We just show up, do the work, and hope people have a decent stay without any fuss. We're not perfect, but we try.
