The Craft

The Craft is located over in Bibvewadi, specifically inside Laxmi, house number forty-five, which is part of the Sangam Housing Society. We are quite close to the Vivekanand Statue, which is how most people find their way to us when they are coming for the first time. Bibvewadi is a nice, steady part of Pune, and being in a housing society makes the work environment feel a bit more like home than a cold office building. We spend our hours working on different projects, mostly focusing on things that require a bit of handiwork and attention. The space is often filled with materials, tools, and sketches lying around on the tables. It can get a little messy when we are in the middle of something big, but that is just how we work. We are not a big corporation with hundreds of employees; it is just us here, making things and trying to get through the daily list of tasks. Sometimes we sit outside in the society area when the weather is decent, just to get a break from the screens and the indoor lights. Working in Pune means we deal with the usual things like power cuts or the rain making the roads a bit difficult, but we have been here long enough that it doesn't bother us much. We just focus on what needs to be done for the day and make sure the people who come to us get what they asked for without any unnecessary complications or fancy talk.
