Harsh General & Seasonal Store

You can find us over on Ghoga Street in Pimpri Colony. The shop is on Janama Bhoomi Marg, and it’s been a part of the neighborhood for a good while. We call it a general and seasonal store because what we sell depends on the time of year. During the festivals, we’re packed with decorations, lights, and whatever else people need for their homes. Other times, it’s just the usual stuff like soap, snacks, and household items. The shelves are a bit crowded, and sometimes you have to move one thing to find another, but we know where everything is. It’s a bit of a maze in the back storage area, too. We open early in the morning so people can grab what they need on their way to work. It’s a family-run kind of place, so you’ll often see one of us sitting by the register reading the paper or talking to a neighbor. We don't have fancy barcodes for everything; we just know the prices and write them down. The floor is old tile that’s worn down from years of people walking in and out. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise, but we’ve gotten used to it. It’s just a normal shop for normal folks. We like being part of the community here and seeing the same faces every day. We usually keep a big jar of candy on the counter for the kids who come in with their parents.
