Pushpam Collection

Pushpam Collection is tucked away in Kothrud, at 131/A/4. It’s a modest shop where we keep a variety of clothes, mostly for women and kids. We’ve been here in this part of Kothrud for several years now. The shelves are usually packed tight with different fabrics and ready-made pieces. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy changing room or a lounge area. We have a few mirrors and some stools for when people get tired of looking through the stacks. Sometimes the inventory arrives in big bundles and sits on the floor for a day until we can sort it all out. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three customers are inside at once. I run the place with my sister. We know most of the ladies who shop here by name. They come in looking for something specific for a wedding or just a new set of daily wear. We don’t do big advertising. People just find us by word of mouth or by walking past. The building is an older one, so it stays relatively cool even when it’s sunny outside. We keep things pretty informal. If you want to see a different color, we’ll pull down ten more boxes until you find it. That’s just how we do things here. We don't mind the extra effort to find the right piece for someone.
