You can find us at Shop No 12 in the Prithvi Apartments building over in Pune. It is a ground-floor space, which is handy because we do not have to deal with elevators every time we want to step out for a minute. The 411028 area of Pune is quite settled, and there are plenty of other shops and flats around us. We have been at this address for a while now. Thakar Associates Private Limited is just a small team of us working together. The shop is filled with files and a couple of computers. It gets a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time, but we are used to it. We don't have a big sign or anything too loud outside our front door. Just the name on the door so people know they are in the right place. People from the apartments often walk by and wave to us. It is that kind of friendly neighborhood. We handle various associate tasks and a lot of paperwork. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing away at the keyboards. We usually bring our own lunch from home and eat together at the main table in the back. There is a small bakery nearby that we go to when we want a biscuit or a quick snack. It is a basic setup, very functional and no-nonsense. We just focus on the work that needs doing and try to keep things organized.
