Our workshop is out in Bhor, at Gat No. 736 in Kondhanpur. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here to Shed No. 1, right near Lata Engineering. The area is quite industrial but also feels a bit like the countryside since we're away from the main city noise. Inside the shed, there’s always the constant hum of machines running. It’s a very practical space. We don’t have fancy carpets or air-conditioned lobbies. We just have our tools and the projects we're currently working on. Most days are spent on the floor, looking at drawings or checking the metalwork for errors. The air usually smells like cut steel and coolant. We’ve been at this location for a while now. It works for us because there’s enough room to move things around without hitting walls. The team here just gets on with the work. We handle a lot of engineering tasks that involve a lot of precision, even if the shed itself looks a bit worn down. Sometimes the rain on the tin roof is so loud we have to shout to be heard over the noise. We eat our lunch together in the corner when things slow down. It's a straightforward way of working. No one wears a suit or tie here. We just focus on getting the parts right and meeting the deadlines written on the whiteboard. It’s a quiet spot out in Velu, but we stay busy with the technical tasks.
