We started these music classes right here in Camp Shikrapur Society 4. It's a decent spot, usually quiet enough for what we do. We have a few instruments and some space for students to sit. It isn't a huge studio with soundproofing on every wall, just a regular place where we get together to play. We mostly have kids from the society coming in, but some adults stop by too. The sessions are pretty relaxed. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule, we just try to get the music right. If the weather is nice, we leave the windows open. You can find us easily enough once you are in Society 4. We don't spend money on big ads or anything. Most people just hear the singing or the instruments when they walk past and ask about it. We’ve got some mats on the floor and a couple of stools. It’s a bit cramped when the bigger groups come in, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time just repeating the basics because that’s how you learn. No one here is trying to be a superstar, we just like the music. It’s a good way to spend the afternoon. We have been doing this for a while and the neighbors don’t seem to mind the noise too much. It is just a part of life in the society now. We just open up and let the music happen every single day.
