Sumedh Engineers

Sumedh Engineers is over at 47 Shivaji Housing Society, right on Senapati Bapat Road in the Model Colony area. It is a nice part of Pune, a bit more residential and quiet than the main industrial zones like Pimpri, but we still keep ourselves very busy with various engineering tasks. The office is in a spot that feels more like a lived-in home than a sterile factory, which makes it a bit more relaxed for those of us who work here every day. We have been in this location for a long time, and the neighbors all know exactly what we do. Inside, it’s mostly computers, old technical drawings, and a few prototypes we are currently tinkering with. We don't have a lot of walk-in customers because our work is pretty specific; it is mostly people we have worked with for years. The big trees outside give some good shade, which is really nice during the hot Pune summers. We usually start our day with a quick talk about what needs to be finished by the evening. There isn't any big corporate structure or fancy titles here. If something needs doing, whoever is free just picks up the tool or the phone and does it. Sometimes we spend the whole day arguing over a small design change, and other times it’s just quiet, focused work. We like it this way because it feels more personal when you are working in a place like Shivaji Housing Society. We aren't trying to be some massive firm; we just do our work.
