Sulzer India Ltd

Sulzer India Ltd is out at Gat No. 304 in Kondhapuri. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main city, being in Tal: Shirur. The area is much more open than the crowded streets of Pune. We have a lot of space out here, which is necessary for the kind of work we do. It’s mostly industrial, so there are always trucks moving and the sound of machinery in the background. It isn't a place for quiet office work; it’s more of a site where things actually get built and moved. We spend our days dealing with various industrial processes and making sure the operations keep moving. The weather out in Shirur can get pretty hot in the summer, and the dust from the road is just part of the daily routine. We don't have a lot of walk-in customers because of where we are located, so it's mostly just the staff and the vendors coming through the gates. It is a practical setup. There’s a canteen where we all eat together and talk about the day’s tasks. It’s a long day for most of us, especially with the commute, but there is a certain satisfaction in working somewhere with this much room. We just keep our heads down and focus on what needs to happen on the floor and making sure the machines are running as they should.
