We are based in Anand Math, which is part of the Janata Vasahat area near Parvati in Pune. The pin code is 411009. This area has some hills and slopes, which makes it an interesting place to learn how to drive a car. We have been taking people out on these roads for a long time. The cars have the extra pedals on our side so we can stop if something goes wrong. It is a busy neighborhood. There are kids playing and people walking everywhere. You have to be very careful. Our little office is quite basic. It is just a spot to sign up and talk about the timing for the classes. We usually start early in the morning before the traffic gets too bad. Pune has its own way of driving and you have to get used to it. The gear shifting is what most people struggle with at first. We spend a lot of time practicing the handbrake on the slopes near Parvati. It is a lot of repetitive work. Some days are long and the sun is bright. We just sit there and guide the students through the turns. It is a simple business. We don't have any flashy stuff. Just the cars and the road. We try to keep the windows rolled down for the breeze. The engine gets warm after a few rounds of practice, but the car keeps going fine.
