Working out of Bhosari near Doddabanahalli Village can be a bit of a trek for some, but for us, it’s home. Our spot at Kanamangala Po East S-67 is more of a workshop than a typical office. There’s always the sound of machines or someone moving heavy parts around. It’s dusty and smells like oil and metal most of the time. We do engineering work, which basically means we spend our time measuring things and making sure they fit together like they’re supposed to. We have a lot of tools hanging on the walls and some that are way too big to move. The team is mostly guys who have been doing this for years. We wear overalls and heavy boots because you never know what might drop on your feet. It’s hard work and the summer heat in Bhosari can be pretty brutal inside the shed. We don't have air conditioning, just some big industrial fans that move the hot air around. Lunch is usually eaten together on some crates out back. We talk about the projects we're on or just complain about the commute. It’s a solid way to make a living. We don't have a website that works half the time, so people usually just call or show up. If you need something fabricated or fixed, we usually have a way to get it done with what we’ve got. We’ve been in this village area for a long time and we like the pace.
