Stepz Dance School

Stepz Dance School is located in the AECS Layout in Kundanahalli. We are on the 1st Main in C Block, near Khondhwa. The area is full of engineers and office workers, so it gets very busy during the commute hours. Our studio is in a building that has a small grocery store on the ground floor. We are upstairs. I chose this place because it had a good floor that didn't need much work. We just put down some laminate and it was ready to go. The space is quite long and narrow, so we have to dance in lines. We don't have any air conditioning, just three large fans that we keep on full blast. They are quite noisy, so we have to turn the music up to compensate. There’s a small area where people can leave their bags and change their shirts. It’s just a corner with a screen pulled across it. We don't have a website or an app for bookings. People just call me on my mobile or send a message. Most of our students come here after their shift at the tech parks nearby. They look tired when they arrive but they seem happier when they leave. We have a small balcony where I go to look at the traffic. It’s a basic, honest place. We haven't bothered with fancy decorations or complicated schedules. We just open up and dance. It works for us and for the people who come here.
