Our workshop is over at Plot No. 1537, down in Sonawane Wasti. It’s right on the Chikhlee main road, so the traffic noise is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We do a lot of steel work here. You’ll hear the grinders and saws going from the moment we open up. The place isn't very big, and it’s always filled with scrap metal and various projects we are in the middle of finishing. We don't really have a formal reception area or anything like that. People usually just walk right into the shop and find one of us. Most of the guys here live nearby in the Chikhlee area. We’ve been doing this for a while, so we know how to handle most of the metal jobs that come our way. Sometimes it’s just simple welding, and other times we have to figure out a way to make something more complicated work. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and getting our hands dirty every single day. The office is just a corner with a computer and a lot of dusty files. We don’t spend much time in there anyway. We’d rather be out on the floor getting things done. It’s an honest way to make a living and it keeps us occupied. We just do the work as it comes and hope the machines don't break.
