Goodwill Power Generators Pvt. Ltd. is situated on the 3rd floor of Orient Chambers, at Plot No-2163B in Sadashiv Peth. Being on the 3rd floor means we have a lot of stairs to climb every day, which keeps us moving since the lift can be a bit temperamental. Sadashiv Peth is a crowded area with lots of narrow lanes and old buildings. Our office in Orient Chambers is usually buzzing with the sound of phones ringing or the low hum of the city outside. We deal with power generators, so we talk a lot about electricity and what happens when it goes out. The walls are a plain off-white color and are covered in maps and diagrams of different engine types. It’s not a fancy executive suite. We have some old metal cabinets and desks that have seen better days. Usually, there’s a stack of newspapers in the corner and a half-empty box of biscuits on the table. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just focus on making sure the generators are ready when someone needs one. People come up the stairs to see us, often looking a bit tired from the climb. We offer them a chair and some water and talk about what they need. It’s a busy place, but we try to keep things grounded and straightforward without any corporate polish or big words.
