Bucket Design

Bucket Design is located at 26/150 in Sahyadrinagar, Lonavala. Being up here in the hills is a lot different than being down in Mumbai or Pune. The air is better, but the pace of everything is much slower. We work out of this small place in the residential area. It’s not a studio you’d see in a magazine. It’s just where we have our computers and drawing boards set up. We do design work, mostly for local projects or people we know. Lonavala gets incredibly busy on the weekends with all the tourists, so we usually try to get our main work done during the week when it’s quieter. Sometimes the internet is a bit spotty because of the weather, especially during the monsoon when it pours for days. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a couple of us who like making things look good. We aren't trying to be famous or anything. We just want to do work that people can actually use. Most of our neighbors in Sahyadrinagar know us as the people who stay up late with the lights on. It’s a quiet life, and we like it that way. We don’t really do any promotion or advertising. If someone likes what we did for their friend, they usually just give us a call or stop by the house. That’s how we’ve kept going all this time without any trouble.
