Anant Earth Movers

Anant Earth Movers is at 218/C Paravati, right near the Home Guard Centre. We have been here for a good number of years now. People usually don’t have much trouble finding us because the Home Guard building is such a big landmark. It is mostly a place for our heavy machinery and a small area where we do the paperwork. We handle things like digging, shifting soil, and general site work around Paravati. It’s not a fancy office with air conditioning or nice rugs. It’s just a yard where we keep the equipment and get things ready for the day. My brother and I started this because there was so much building work happening in this part of town and we had some experience with the machines. Sometimes the rain makes the ground too soft to work, but we try to keep things moving as much as we can. We aren't a big corporation. It is just a few of us who know how to run the backhoes and loaders. Most of our day is spent out on the job sites, then we come back here in the evening to check the oil and make sure nothing is broken. It gets pretty dusty and noisy, but that is the nature of the work. People just walk in to ask if we have a machine free for next week. We just write it in the book and keep going. It is honest, hard work.
