Srinath Enterprises

Our place, Srinath Enterprises, sits right on the Main Road in Hadapsar, specifically in the Handewadi section. Being on the main road means we get a lot of noise and dust from the passing trucks all day long. The shop is located at Plot Number 14, and it is a fairly basic setup. We have shelves filled with stock and a counter that has seen better days. People from the neighborhood and contractors from all over Hadapsar stop in to see what we have. It’s often a bit chaotic with deliveries coming in and customers asking for things we have to dig out from the back. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is stored. The heat can get pretty bad in the summer, so we usually have a couple of fans going full blast. We spend a lot of time checking invoices and making sure the inventory is right. Handewadi is growing fast, so there is always something happening outside. We see a lot of the same faces every week, which makes the days go by a bit faster. There is no corporate polish here, just a lot of cardboard boxes and the sound of the traffic. We open up early and stay until the work is done, usually closing up just as the sun goes down and the main road traffic starts to thin out a little bit.
