We set up Speedage Express Cargo Services right behind Hotel Pinaca in Mulshi. It’s a good location because the hotel is easy to find for anyone coming off the main road. Mulshi is a bit different from the crowded streets of Mumbai; it feels a little more open, though the roads can get tricky during the rainy season. Our work is all about moving cargo, so we spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the trucks are loaded right. The office is just a basic building with a lot of space for boxes and crates. It’s not a place meant for looks; it’s meant for moving things. We have a small crew and we all know each other well. Most of the day is spent on the phone or out in the loading area. When the weather is nice, you can see the hills around Mulshi, which is a nice break from looking at paperwork. We get all kinds of packages coming through here, some big and some small.
